What are the possible problems next to taking both Micardis and KDur?

I have hypertension and newly began Micardis and read contained by the literature that you should tell your doctor if your are taking potassium supplements. I wonder what the problem might be? def. a cross-examine for your doc or pharmacist, I wouldn't listen to anyone's advise on here give or take a few your health.
