what are the run of the mill size of platelets?

Platelets are anuclear (no cell nucleus) and discoid (disc shaped); they measure 1.5–3.0 μm within diameter.
Usually only massive enough to hold a portion of dessert.
Platelets are roughly 2 microns. I had to look it up, even though I donate platelets every 4 weeks. They whip blood out of one arm, skim off the platelets, and put the rest posterior in the other arm.
The resulting product is a rich golden color.
They are going on for 1.5 to 3.0 Microns or about the size of your fingernail.
2.2microns is the best size of platelets
