what are the principles of broad infection control?

im doing an aged care assignment and have need of some help. You should treat any body fluids as if they be infectious, every time. Examples of universal precautions are wearing gloves, never recap needles, autoclaving all consume, and using eye protection when there is a splash risk.
With tolerant care, it's meaningful to change glove between patients, disinfect surfaces, and other use sterile equipment. More specifie to the eldery, it's also important to monitor infections closely, since nursing homes are habitually crowded, and they have weaker immune systems, departing them more prone to illness.
Basically it can be summed up as this: if it come out of anyone elses body you had better wear gloves and later wash your hand when your done. Every single time for everybody, always.
Keep the sick relatives away from those who are healthy.
